Description
This galvanometer by Hugo Benioff, 1961 was manufactured by The Geotechnical Corporation to be attached to a seismograph. It received earthquake waves from the seismograph as electrical impulses. Based on the voltage of electricity received, the galvanometer would convert this energy to light of varying intensity cast onto photographic paper such as the one below.
