The objective is to produce a modern, industry-standard 2D land seismic reflection dataset to assist industry to better target areas likely to contain the next major oil, gas and mineral deposits. Reprocessing by Velseis is complete and data have been QCed. Release of the Velseis direct processed data package is planned for mid-Oct 2021. The data will be available on request to GA Client Services.Officer BasinGA SA L13755040 m240 m 20 sec 2D deepGA commissioned reprocessing of Officercrustal seismic2D legacy deep crustal seismic data Basin explosivein the Officer Basin, South Australia, reflectionas part of the Exploring for the seismicFuture programme. The objective is to produce a modern industry standard 2D land seismic reflection dataset to assist industry to better target areas likely to contain the next major oil, gas and mineral deposits. Reprocessing of these data by Geofizika started in May 2021 and is planned to be complete in Oct 2021EasternGSWA WA L132 1991260 40 m 160 m 20 s 2D deepProject completed. GSWA/GA MoU Goldfields Easterncrustal seismiccovered reprocessing of legacy Goldfieldsexplosiveexplosive data acquired by GAs Seismic reflectionpredecessor agency, the Bureau of seismicMineral Resources in 1991. GSWA contracted Velseis Processing Pty Ltd. to reprocess these data set using modern processing techniques, which were unavailable at the time of the original data acquisition and initial processing. GA provided QC and monitoring of the reprocessing. The improved seismic data complements other geoscience datasets in GSWAs Eastern Goldfields Reinterpretation Project, and GSWAs Accelerated Geoscience Program. The work was funded by the WA Governments Exploration Incentive Scheme. Data release on GA website:http://pid.geoscience.gov.au/dataset/ga/74951(Continued)OCTOBER 2021 PREVIEW 22'
