Gravity Discovery Centre: An Evening for Gold Miners and Gold Explorers on 28th Nov. 2017

An Evening for Gold Miners and Gold Explorers on 28th Nov

  • Learn how gold is formed from hydrogen atoms in stars and condenses in earth like planets from the eminent physicist whose 1989 prediction about the origin of gold was proven several months ago.
  • Take a tour of the satellite controlled robotic Zadko telescope which contributed key observations in the discovery.
  • Later in the evening adjourn to the observatory with the largest public viewing telescopes in Western Australia and scan for the very rare evidence of a gold forming event amongst other phenomena in the universe.
  • All this at the Gravity Discovery Centre located in wildflower rich native bushland about 1 hr north of Perth. You can even join us for dinner at the Gravity Café.

Jointly Hosted by UWA Institute of Advanced studies and the Not-For-Profit Gravity Discovery Centre
