Petrophysical Data Acquisition

Mr. Grant Taylor (Oil Search Limited)

Abstract: Mr. Grant Taylor from the Oil Search Limited will be presenting on “Petrophysical Data Acquisition" . He will briefly go through all the different petrophysical tools currently used in the petroleum industry (Gamma Ray, Resistivity, Spontaneous Potential, Density, Neutron, Sonic, Borehole Image and Pressure). He will also outline a bit about the process of drilling an oil and gas well.
